Coffs Harbour is a seaside holiday destination which is equally popular with locals as it is with international visitors. Many come to Coffs Harbour in search of the typical Australian holiday experience which includes ideal weather conditions, friendly locals, relaxed atmosphere and stunning natural beauty. The region surrounding Coffs Harbour, referred to as Coffs Coast, makes an ideal destination for campervan hire holiday makers. The ideal living conditions in and around Coffs Harbour has seen the city grow at a rapid pace. Despite this rapid development the city has managed to hold on to its small town charm and it makes the ideal base camp for further exploration of the region. The city is surrounded by the natural beauty of sub-tropical rainforests, pristine marine reserves and a range of immaculately manicured public gardens.
Coffs Harbour is a coastal city located in northern New South Wales, almost half way between our campervan rental Sydney branch and our campervan rental Brisbane branch. The city serves as the major regional centre for a stretch of coast commonly referred to by locals as the "Coffs Coast". It encompasses a stretch of coastline starting in the north from Woolgoola and Coffs Harbour south to Nambucca and Scotts Head and west to the town of Bellingen and beyond to the Dorrigo National Park.
The sleepy country villages dotted throughout the hinterland provide the ideal location to stock up on supplies before immersing yourself in the glorious rainforest draped mountains. Travelling in one of our campervan rentals you will have the freedom to stay overnight in any of the caravan parks along the way if it takes your fancy.
Fishing
The Coffs Coast is an excellent destination for any keen fisherman or woman! Hire tackle and stock up on bait from a local bait shop, cast your line and try your luck at any of the great fishing locations along the coastline. If you take your fishing seriously then you can up the ante by joining a fishing charter group on a deep sea fishing experience.
